Shulker box glitching the player into the floor

The player has to be standing inbetween a shulkerbox and a block, with the lid of the box opening towards the player (the spinny part). Opening the shulkerbox will technically make the space for the player to small, so the player glitches into the floor.
In the screenshots, the red wool ist the block the player is standing on and glitches into.
