All Zombie Pigmen in the Nether are always aggresive

So i accidentally hit a zombie pigman and every zombie pigman in the nether became hostile. New ones that spawned even dropped from above and died trying to get to me. They are hostile to all players as well, even if the other players did not attack any zombie pigmen. Even when i went back through the portal to the overworld, the next time i went to the nether the zombie pigmen were still aggressive. This makes it almost impossible to traverse the nether without almost dying because of how much damage zombie pigmen do.
