[MC-152340] "Cursed" Farmland

I cant seem to place seeds on certain farmland tiles, but it doesn't seem to be related to any sort of chunk error, I don't know why this is happening.

also, when I place a torch, the seeds "explode", is this intended? and if so, why?

I also have similar issue of unable to place the seeds in certain tiles but my case now is that when I break the wheats suddenly many other crops break at the same time. Is this also because of not having enough light? My issue is in version 1.16.5

@unknown, yes this is because you don't have enough light.

Not enough light, but the block remains placed, shouldn't update the seeds when torch is broken?
