I upgraded the server from 1.13 to 1.14 and then shortly after to 1.14.1. The server seems to be crashing with an OutOfMemoryError despite being configured with enough memory. It normally runs with 2Gb but I also tried with 4Gb just in case. In jconsole it runs with around 300Mb in heap before it crashes.

This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modified or third-party client, server, or launcher.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
This site is for addressing issues related to the base unmodded Minecraft; any modded system invalidates your ticket, unless the behavior can be reproduced without mods.
Additionally, if you have problems on large-scale modded servers, please report it to their site. It's probably not a bug in Minecraft.

I disagree Mr. Bot. This is a vanilla minecraft server that I just downloaded from your site. I realize your crash says 'can't tell' but I assure you it's not modded.
