When placing torches, FPS will drop from around 60 to around 0 for a brief moment, effectively creating freezes and stutters in the game when placing any torches.
What I expected to happen:
Smooth gameplay and consistent FPS when lighting up my world with torches
What actually happened:
Drop in FPS and freezes in gameplay while lighting up my world with torches.
Placing other blocks seems to also lower FPS for a brief moment, but none that I have encountered quite as bad a torches. Usually, when placing other blocks, it briefly shoots down to below 30 FPS, but it is not quite as noticable.

I do not believe this is a duplicate of MC-123584
I don't believe a torch would be considered a complex model.
When the debug rendering pie chart the warning said to be logged do not get logged when breaking torches.
I don't believe the block changes are resulting in a redraw of the entire chunk section.
If you could kindly unmark this as a duplicate and resolved, that would be greatly appreciated.
