block revertion in realms?

Id recently bought minecraft maybe a month or two ago, when the new update came out maybe the day before or the day of, something lik that. When i got it, i bought my own minecraft realm. Everything was fine at first, there was never any problems. But lately, idk why, its been almost completely unplayable and all of my friends have reported to me theyve experienced the same so its not the internet connection. I mined a block and it reverted, but my character didnt go back; which made me suffocate in a wall. Or, if im mining, only some blocks will revert and others wont; only the blocks though. I can barely play like this. And?? It keeps crashing when the revertions get especially bad
