Villages spawn rate since 1.11 to 1.14 is like an infestation.
here are some examples
Seed : -7273534702661314127
1.14 : 82 Villages
1.10 : 32 Villages
Seed : 5324560665388954678
1.14 : 92 Villages!
1.10 : 31 Villages
( small note : i noticed that villages density in deserts especially have top of the roof spawn rate :
to get this glitch load a world in 1.10 and use the same seed in 1.11 to 1.14 and you will notice the difference in villages. Admist is a great program to see the difference easily.
hopefully i have provided enough information for this bug to be fixed once and for all, and thanks for the support CubeTheThird ♥

After finding 10 in a row in such a small space, it kinda gets too much.. I think the spawn rate should be the same as a pillager outpost
This is your seed visualized in Amidst (Seems like there's just more villages in desert biomes, maybe WAI?):
[media]Yeah compare the number of villages to pillages, I think the generation of villages should be just like pillagers outposts, also another note : How Many Sunken SHIPS?? it should be toned down as well.
I am not a developer, nor do I work for Mojang (the moderators and helpers are community volunteers). We thus cannot comment on whether a bug will be fixed, and when. It may be possible the developers decide this is working as intended.
@miwob Yes Michael i can confirm the bug is still present in 1.16.1 and the generation rate is still the same with deserts having the highest density of villages, any progress on the reason why?
Isn't this a feature request? Villages were made more frequent in Village & Pillage, and people are fine with it.
I think more villages is good.
