spent the last few days building and testing an ironfarm and i keep getting massive random lag spikes. f3 info isn't telling me anything but the whole game freezes for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. it's totaly random. sometimes it can go a long time between them and sometimes only minutes.
tested in an other world and it is the same there so, seams to be a quite big bug somewhere.

I can't see any issues there that could be causing it it could possibly be rapid chunk loading or just there's currently a bug that makes some users experience lag spikes honestly I can't think on what it could be.
made some adjustment to my ironfarm and removed the water ontop of the platform(slabs) and now its silky smooth again, looks like there is an issue with the water mechanics. but i cant be sure i'm no gamedesigner. but if it barks like a dog it most likely is a dog right?
If you hear a bark like a dog there's probably a entity of a dog around and the lag could be caused by your iron farm

as soon as the water was placed the lag spikes began
Could it be your computer rather than the game?
