[MC-154796] Wrong location error after teleporting entities

Unmodified, private 1.14 multiplayer server. (edit: it's just 1.14, no updates past that. not sure how to select that version)

I attempted to teleport my girlfriend and I and our dogs back to our base (using the command "/tp @e[x=7944,y=70,z=-3742,distance=..30] 592 70 241". The log showed 5 entities being teleported successfully (us, the dogs, and a random rabbit), but only we showed up at the new location, and the log showed a "wrong location" error for the animals. The animals don't seem to exist anywhere anymore. I've successfully teleported users with their animals before, so I'm not sure what happened here. Attached is a screenshot of the console log.

Please do not mark unreleased versions as affected.
You don't have access to them yet.

The animals were unloaded since all players left the chunks before them.

Please also note that we only accept tickets for the latest release (currently 1.14.2) and for the latest snapshot or pre-release (currently 1.14.3-pre3).

I appreciate the answer, but the players were teleported with the animals at the same time, and I've successfully used this command to teleport users with their animals before, so I'm not sure what went wrong this time, or what "wrong location" means.
