[MC-154814] went into game with wrong verstion no warning and lost everything that i worked for days for

i lived on a mountain in 1.14.2 and i went on 1.8 to go on a server and forgot i wasn't in the right version with no warning it put we in at the sky box base gone everything i worked for gone and i switched to 1.14.2 and the same thing happened

There's nothing we can do about that. Older versions didn't have the warnings yet, and they cannot be added in retroactively.

If you created a backup of your world when updating to 1.14.2, you can use that to restore the progress to that point.

This isn't a bug, it's your fault. You should know better than to play a new world in an older version and expect it to go well.
