Day cycle has stopped

Was playing minecraft when nightime came. The game got stuck in nightime. Moon seems to advance for a couple seconds before it jumps back. Tried to use doDaylightCycle to solve, didn't work. Tried to change time to day, and that worked only for that. Daylight cycle was not solved.
