I don't have this issue on any earlier Minecraft versions, but on 1.14, 1.14.1, and 1.14.2, if I set off TNT and then destroy the blocks on the fringe of the explosion after the blast happens, the game framerate will hitch badly with every block break and block placement in that area. On top of that, torches cause large hitches too on placement in dark areas and if I place or break blocks around the torch. Turning on simple lighting does not fix this. Output log gives zero errors or any indication that anything whatsoever is wrong even when turning on the debug messages, Tested this on another desktop with the exact same results. Exact same lag experienced. Same lag also experienced on Pre-Release 4 of 1.14.3.

Bug still present in 1.14.4, although the torch hitching doesn't seem quite as bad. Placing blocks around torches in very dark areas also seems to be fine now.
Reinstalled and created entirely new default worlds in Creative. Waited for it to finish chunk loading, then tested it out again.
TNT issue is still confirmed to exist in both snapshot 19w45a and 19w45b and should be reopened. I also take back what I said about the torch issue being better. Turning time to midnight and placing torches outside causes notable hitching. Less so in enclosed areas but the hitching is still present.
I should also add to this that there seems be a bit of hitching sometimes with TNT explosions as well, though I've read that TNT explosions are CPU intensive and will hitch a little bit.
Bugs still definitely present in 1.15.2. Most pronouced at night by far. Can I PLEASE at least get this bug confirmed? It's been half a year now.
Bug still present in 1.14.3.
