I have been trading with one farming villager up until it reached Expert level (aka the emerald badge) and now I can no longer trade with them. The GUI opens for a split second and then closes again. The villager is from a spruce village.
UPDATE: this only occurs when the composter is broken. when I replaced the composter, trading went back to normal. is this intentional or accidental?

The window of trade can be restored if you break and put his workplace and the villager "will come" to update their trading.
UPD: After one villager gets rid of the bug, the other one gets it, who previously did not have it.

I have the same problem. Version 1.14.3-pre4. Moved from 1.14.2 to 1.14.3-pre4. I can not trade only with part of the villagers. Replacing the workplace of a villager, like yours, does not help. The rank of a villager does not affect the loss of trading window.
