Blurry Line on lower part of my screen.

Directly above my hotbar is a blurred pixelated line that appears when I move or run. I tried restarting the game and it has done nothing.

Please provide a screenshot/photo with the debug screen enabled (hit the F3 key) demonstrating the issue.

Also on Mac Java Edition, seeing the same when moving (glitching horizontal line in bottom third of screen); it started after upgrading to 1.14.3. Turning VSync off reduces/eliminates it.

I'm also on a Mac (mine is old, mid 2011) and Java, same thing. I didn't have that on 1.14.2, only on 1.14.3. It's not easy to capture a screenshot as it moves like interference. It's impossible to see it in a screenshot as it moves around, it's not static. I tried to make a video on it but all you can see seems lag, so I guess mac users will stuck with this...

Why was this marked as resolved? I don't see any attachments included or more details other than what Monica added. This is definitely a visual bug. I saw it when I tried the snapshot and should've reported, but here we are.

I'm on a 2012 Macbook Pro. When moving in any direction there is a, for lack of a better description, pixelated line or blur that appears in the bottom third of the screen, just above the hot bar. This visual anomaly occurs when moving backwards, forwards, or side to side. It also persists no matter the texture pack. I was using Default 32 and Default 32 3D Add-on. Switched to the stock delivered texture pack and the visual anomaly persisted.

Another way to put it is it looks like a Minecraft-y version of a heat mirage. Very distracting and very much happening. When I first noticed it during the most recent snapshot I immediately switched back to 1.14.2 and the bug went away.

I will be attaching screenshots with the debug screen present, however, the screenshots are not capturing the issue. It appears as if the visual bug is not captured by the screenshot functionality. This may require further testing by others to replicate. That being said, this is a real bug and is affecting gameplay.

Having the same problem on my 2017 iMac on 1.14.3

Screen recording did not show the issue. I was only able to record by using my phone's camera.

Mariah's video is replicating the visual artifact I am experiencing.

Mariah captured what I am seeing as well (thank you, Mariah!). I'm able to mitigate it by turning VSync off, but this wasn't necessary in prior versions.

I was able to confirm what Stacey posted: disabling VSync mitigates the issue. Works as a temporary fix, but not great as a permanent setting on older machines. Also, as Stacey pointed out, this was not necessary in 1.14.2.

I have the same issue but on the new, 1.14.3 update..I'm on a MAC aswell, weird cause for any other version, I never had this.

migrated

I am having this issue as well.  I am using a MacBook Pro.

(on a Mac) Disabling VSync does not fix the issue, look closely in the same area. There is still a distortion. It does look better but it is still there.
