When trying to make flags out of a white banner, the dye's color does not appear on it. I thought maybe I am doing something wrong, so I referred to some youtube videos, but I was doing the same exact thing that worked for them but not for me.

As of the 1.14 update to make dyed banners you need a loom. If you need any other info on looms you can find it on the minecraft gamepedia here: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Loom
