Im unable to get xp from quartz while mining in the nether, the xp sound happens but the xp bar doesnt progress even after a reset and changing world

We are not able to understand or reproduce your issue. Please attach video evidence. Note if you appear to have a mending item on you, the xp will be used to repair the item.
You probably have Mending on your Pickaxe. If you have Mending on your Pickaxe and the Pickaxe is damaged, all the XP goes to the Pickaxe. If your Pickaxe is fully repaired while Mending is applied, all the XP goes to the XP bar.
Tested it and works as intended.
