Villager Occupation Glitch

The villagers seem to glitch out when they walk too far away from their occupation block. Their interactive menus flash and don't stay open, and in order to fix it, you have to pick up their occupation block and put it next to them again to do some kind of "reset" so it can find the block and the menu will work, however that is annoying since I have to keep picking up the block and putting it down to lead them back to their assigned workspace.
