I am trying to transport villagers in mine carts and I tried boats as well but they are not going in as they used to they just avoid them can you tell me why or help me resolve the problem

i have tried to recreate and have not been able to make sure that the villager is close enough to the boat you kinda gotta move them into the same space before the villager gets in
