See the pictures. The water is not flowing out, because the piston is in the way.
The piston became invisible and is not working at all. I can't rid this bug nor replace it with another piston. Restarting the game didn't fix it.
I have seen other posts about this, but I can't find the solution from those posts.

See the second picture with the debug screen.
The block I pointed is just a stone brick: /setblock -22 44 782 minecraft:stone_bricks.
I avoided this problem by building a piston in a different location.
Please provide a screenshot with the debug screen enabled (hit the
F3key) demonstrating the issue.
