When opening chests or managing items inside of them, once in a while the right click action will happen twice when i press the button once. for example the chest will open, and half of the items from the slot in the default cursor position will be picked up immediately, or two items will be deposited from a stack instead of one. This did not happen prior to updating to 1.14.4

it is an old lenovo wired usb mouse. I have noticed that it also happens outside of chests, when using maps and rockets, it will consume two very quickly sometimes.
Try testing if this happens outside of Minecraft. For testing you would need to find some scenario where double right clicks can be noticed easily because under normal windows use a double right click usually would went unnoticed. I think it's just the microswitch that started to malfunction now.
Or even better, replace the mouse and see if the issue persists.
What mouse is that?
