Items enchanted with curse of vanishing do not dissapear on death if placed in shulker boxes

I don't really think that this is a bug? While yes, it may make sense for curse of vanishing in shulker boxes should disappear, I think that it should stay the way it is

That should be a feature, because it doesn't make sense for the tool to disappear from inside the shulker box. Mojang should keep this.

So the issue states that the item enchanted with Curse of Vanishing should vanish when dispensed or death when placed in a shulker box? I don't think this is a bug. The enchantment works only when the item is in the player's inventory.
