commandblocks and chat clear out whenever i press <a>

A few times I've encountered a bug that clears out the chat and command block in minecraft when I press <a>,

and even if I try exiting the game it will stil clear out the chat.

But when I i start the game in 1.14.3 it doesn't happen.
