In a world created with the version 1.14 i posed some sticks, but now I cannot pose them anymore.

Farming sticks, selecting sticks, choose an area and right-click. As usual, the object should be posed on the area, but with sticks, no object is created.
Stick are not, nor have they ever been, an item that can be placed.
