Use Item/Place Block action does not work

When trying to use the action binded with right mouse click, action does not work. I've tried to bind that action with a different controller, still does not work. I've used 3 different mouse and still cannot get the action to work.

I cannot open doors, sleep in a bed, etc. When I try to open a door, only half the door opens no matter if I bind that action with the right mouse click or a different control.

Touchmode screen is off. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game TWICE.

Please help me! I will have to ask for a refund if I can't get this to work. I'm currently playing multiplayer and connected on a friend's server.

You're probably within the spawn area of the server where non-admins cannot interact with or break blocks. Please ask your friend to either turn off the spawn protection area or help you get out of the house.

Why did you mark this as resolved? I can't get into ANY door or even use that action whatsoever except to eat. There are other players in this server and no one is having this issue.can you please help?!

You did not address the half door issue either

I resolved the ticket because I was waiting for your answer.

Again, this is spawn protection. If you just spawned on the server, you won't be able to interact with the area you spawned in unless you're an admin of the server. Please ask an admin of the server to adjust the spawn protection.

If that doesn't work, please reply.

Hello, thank you for your instructions. i've asked the server admin to do as you instructed and now I am able to use that action. Strange, I wish there were some warning that would tell you that; otherwise it looks like a bug.

Appreciate your resolution, you can close ticket!

Great to hear that you were able to solve the issue! Yeah, it's just a security measure so that players cannot prevent other players from constantly dying after they've been killed, for instance. A warning might be a good idea, but that would be a feature request, and not a bug.
