[MC-159165] I press play and im not in a game but it says you are running this already

So, I just reinstalled Minecraft because it never worked then it did so I created a new version or 1.12 so I could play on a server so I press play and it brings me onto the page that it says the game is already playing but its not this also happened with 1.14

Restart your computer, maybe its running in background.

Please open the task manager to check whether any other instances of Java (or Minecraft) might be running.

im having the same problem and when you end the task it just closes it and i cant open the game again so i have to reinstall it.
