Hello! So I have recently started playing Minecraft PC again, and no matter what no fish are spawning. I am trying to go for all advancements but I cannot get the one to catch a fish in a bucket. I have also not seen squid, only turtles. I have attempted walking over 3000 blocks with barren rivers and oceans

I have never got a bucket of fish. I was going to go for the advancement, but cannot obtain it. So my answer is no, I have never been able to place a fish from a bucket or catch a fish in a bucket. Also this world was created about 3 days ago.

Hmm, I swam through the ocean a little bit and saw squid, tropical fish, pufferfish, and even dolphins spawn in there. Cannot reproduce.
That is odd. It must be an issue on my end then. I will try to reinstall minecraft and see if that fixes it I guess? But I still would not call the issue resolved as when I swim through I try the /kill command on all aquatic mobs to test if anything even exists, and it says that no entities were found.
I am experiencing the same issue, version 1.14.4, no fish, no squid no dolphins, only turtles and drowned. I see this issue is labeled as resolved, but I don't see any actual answer as to what I need to do to solve my issue. Please make what I need to do more clear so I can understand how to fix this issue, thanks.
Did you ever place any bucket of fish in your world during the versions that affected MC-134702 and MC-148613?
