Game save bug, I played for 7.5 hours last night before closing Minecraft. When I come back today it deleted almost all the progress I made in the 7.5 hours, the only thing it saved was what was in my inventory and in my furnaces. I am sure I saved correctly. my world was the exact same as it was before the gaming session. I have never experienced this in any other versions of the game.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
