Minecraft Crash with HD Patch

I updated my MC to 1.5.2 as well as my server. I logged in with no problems. When I logged in, I remembered I needed to patch my HD texture pack (Sphax PureBDcraft 128x MC15) with MCPatcher. I did this. When I attempted to log back in, I received a crash message just before I got to the Single Player/Multiplayer screen. I repeated this several times. I then force updated Minecraft to 1.5.2 again (so it wouldn't have the HD patch) and it worked fine. I repatched with MCPatcher and when I retried to log in, I received the same error message again.

I do not know if this is a problem with Minecraft 1.5.2 or MCPatcher.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to be able to log in.

What actually happened was...:
My game crashed repeatedly.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Patch version 1.5.2 with MCPatcher.
2. Log in.
3. Watch game crash.
