Issue with the rods

So, I have combined a lot of fishing rods to get a lure 3, luck of the sea 3, unbreaking 3 and mending. When I left to afk fish, not even 10 minutes have passed, my rod was gone. It wasn't in my inventory or anywhere else. It just disapeared. I think this was a issue before, and it got solved, but it is happening again. I played on a server (1.14.4) if that helps anything
