Random unnecessary damage

So my gf and I are on a friend's private server and at random times my gf starts taking random damage.

Like when we're fishing there's nothing around or whatever out of the blue she starts taking damage out of nowhere.

Not sure if anyone else experiences this, I have had this happen to me only once, and nobody else on the server had ever had it, with my gf, this issue seems to randomly happen, twice today.

I hope in the future this bug can be resolved, or if anyone has any solution or is experiencing the same, let me know.

I'll let the entire server know.

When they get random damage out of nowhere again to force a crash and send me the crash report to post here.

A server member finally mailed me the crash report when she took randomly damage out of nowhere.

Saw it happening too, she just placed an anvil in her house when she suddenly began taking damage out of the blue.

My apologies that it took this long, this server member is a new player to Minecraft and knows even less about Technology than I do.

I hope with this crash report you will be able to figure out how it happened or if there is a fix for it.

I just asked for the crash report to confirm that you're not using any mods or otherwise unsupported third-party software that might have caused this issue. This doesn't appear to be the case.

Can you provide some more details about the issue? When does it happen? Is it perhaps just delayed fall damage (or other kinds of damage)? It might just be that the server is lagging behind a bit, so damage is applied later than it should be.

Maybe that could be the case of it being delayed damage no idea though.

The server is Vanilla yes, a few friends of mine and my gf just started to play Minecraft, got it for them.

This happens to only one person on the server, nobody else seems to have this issue

The times when this happens and I witnessed it were different times, first time Spirit, Diana and I were talking about brewing potions, diana made Potion of Instant Health II where she suddenly began taking damage, it was her first batch of potions she made on Minecraft so she shown it off.

Second time I was there when Diana had this issue she was just casually fishing at her docks on the server, right there it happened a few times though 4-5 times.

The third place where I was there when it happened to her she went up the ladder to get into the Igloo we live in and there was the case when Diana finally pressed F3 + C and crashed.

She placed down an Anvil I made for her and she was trying to look if she could upgrade her fishing rod with Lure III.

It looks the same when you're hit by poison or any other type of damage you get over time, same speed, there are just no particles visible that you're being afflicted by something, this issue though as uncommon as it is on our server, since May when the server went up it may have about about 10 times in total.

It all happened with Diana, she's the only one constantly afflicted by this and with me this only happened one time a long while ago.

I don't think I have more information then this, maybe useful to say after Diana healed herself up again with the potion it just kept going.

The rest of the server has never had it happen to them.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

1.15 / 1.15.1 Update report:

Just finished asking today on the server if anyone has experienced the glitch since the new update released and they said they haven't experienced it anymore.

It seems that the release of 1.15 has fixed this problem - what changed that fixed it, no idea but it has for us.

This Bug report can close down unless someone else have had the same issue.

Hope the year has begun well! : )
