Magic bow disappeared in the crafting table.

I put a magic bow and a wooden bow in the crafting table. A regular bow was made then the magic bow disappeared.

Work as intended, you have to put it in an anvil so it can repair it and keep the enchantments.

Correct. Items lose their enchantmens when repaired in a grindstone or using crafting. They only keep their enchantments when repaired using an anvil or the Mending enchantment.
