I try to load up 1.14 or 1.14.4 and it doesn't work. I select either one of them and they start loading on the launcher, but then the launcher just closes, it did not finish loading and even when waiting nothing happens. The Launcher doesn't reappear with a apology for crashing message. My wifi is on during this but my laptop is not running very well. Please help me see if it's either my launcher or computer's fault and help me to fix it.

It's possible that if your wifi isn't good enough, minecraft servers cant receive any signals of you logging on, and will send a crash report. A way you can resolve this issue is that you can turn off your wifi completely and play the offline version. Logging in isn't required so no crash reports will be sent.
