i was about to breed my pigs and ran up to them in third person perspective, and i couldn't help but notice that the pigs seemed to be under a shade, although nothing was above them.

There's still MC-161840, but the main issue here was caused by the arrow stuck in the player model. Entities now no longer get dark in 19w40a in F5 mode in case of a stuck arrow.
