the player stops walking after a while pressing the move key (backwards or forwards) and the problem is not the keyboard

Are you sure it's not the computer? Cause some popups and notifications can cause that sort of things.

Also, some game overlays, such as the Discord overlay, might cause this. Please make sure that the issue is not caused by third-party programs first.
