The bug
Looking at snow from a certain angles can be used to see through walls and underground.
How to reproduce
Simply place down snow, switch the camera to 3rd person and try to find the exploitable angles by "looking" on the snow with the playerhead. (It's really not that hard and will happen by accident a lot of the time when playing in general.)

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-149375, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
