what I expected to happen was that the horse was still there
It is assumed that when dismantling the horse should remain in place
what really happened was that when I dismounted from the horse it disappeared from nowhere instead of being where I was when I rode it
steps to reproduce:
1. I ride the horse
2.I press shift to get rid of the horse
3.disappears just like that (or so it happened to me)

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-101247, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. The fix will arrive in the next version or is already included in the latest development version of the game.
