Sometimes a nether portal links up to a different nether portal when going from overworld to the nether, even though there is a closer portal at the right coordinates. And one time the nether portal didn't even generate when going from the nether to the overworld.

Is this still an issue in 1.15 pre-release 6 or later?
Maybe this is a dublicate. Please check MC-149705 if that is the same like your issue.
