Air does not has no Item Sprite despite being an Item

The Bug
Air has no item form and also does not appear in the inventory despite using the command

/give @p minecraft:air

Replicate

• Do /give @p minecraft:air

• Look through the inventory and notice that their is no Item named Air and nothing was added into the inventory
