[MC-165376] Dropping Items Deletes Some/Entire Stack

When I spread an item stack into my hotbar and drop them one by one, only 16 remain. And if it is a 16 item stack (ender pearls for example) they will all be deleted. Happens with all the items I have tried. Video: https://streamable.com/d1m3z
