World resetting after switching from snapshot back to 1.14.4

I loaded my world in the new snapshot in order to see some bees, and played in it for about a week. When I did this I backed it up. After a while, I decided to change back to 1.14.4. When I did this, my world had completely reset. I went back and loaded the backups, but they were before I had switched it.
