I'm in a survival world in 1.15 Pre-Release 2, and I have a very small watermelon farm. I tried replanting them, but I then noticed that when I stand on the plowed dirt with the stem on, I'm pushed off of it, similar to being pushed by water.
I'm on the newest Java version.
