Fence gates close with pistons

Resolved

Duplicate

When you push an open fence gate with a piston it closes

Environment

java 7 win 8

That is caused by redstone updates nearby, if you power the piston by powering a nearby block it won't close. Therefore duplicate of MC-3582.
