When I was testing on 1.15 pre 7 I've came to a issue which occured during the use of the /effect command.
When I tried to use:
/effect give @p minecraft:saturation 20The effect only lasted 0 seconds.
And when using:
/effect give @p minecraft:saturation 100The effect only lasted 4 seconds.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-19648, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved. That means that this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
