When 1.15 came out I updated my 1.14.4 hardcore server to 1.15. The original untouched world and my edited world merged so that half the world is untouched and half of it has my edited world, meaning i lost half of my builds and things were cut in half (image attached). This is just corruption from updating and i know that that happens, however there was then another bug. I fixed up a lot of stuff over a few hours of work, throughout which i had logged off and on multiple times with no more issues. Then suddenly when i logged back on the chunks had all shuffled around in the area of my buildings (attached).

Please attach the game logs from when this happened. Also, if you have a backup of the 1.14.4 world before it got corrupted, please attach that as well.
To clarify, we need the server logs. Not the logs from your installation of Minecraft.

I added the attachment of the log I could find which related to when this happened, sorry if its the wrong log I don't really know anything about this stuff honestly, if this isn't the server log if you could guide me to the right one that would be appreciated. Also I don't have any backups before corruption unfortunately.
You mentioned that you're running a server. The server log files should be located in the logs
folder inside of your server folder.

sorry when i said server i meant just a singleplayer world.
In that case, the log will be located in .minecraft/logs
. Please attach all logs since you have opened the world in 1.15.

the 3 logs attached are the ones relevant to the corruption and chunk shuffling

I had the same issue in an singelplayer world; createt in 1.15.2
