Inventory Bar Disappeared

The inventory bar disappeared and so did my hand and tools etc in my hand. I can view my character and inventory when I press "e", but when out of that I cannot view or see any of this. It disappeared after having had the game paused for a very short amount of time, maybe about two minutes. I have tried many times to leave the game and reopen it, but it hasn't come back. It's in a solo survival world.
