When combining these two potion effects, the entire game (besides the sun, moon, and night sky) to turn completely black. This persists when the world is saved and quit and in the main menu.
The screenshots attached show the effect in chat (text unreadable and highlighted to show a white bar), the effect in the creative menu, and the text being black on the main menu.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-165208, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
