every time i open minecraft and hit play, my minecraft starts loading and gets about 4/5 of the bar then stops, and proceeds to do nothing. if i try to like click it and stuff, it crashes. The crash report says something about a tech guns item even though I got rid of the mod

That crash report seems to be old. If you are playing with mods, you will have to look up support for those specifically. Otherwise, this looks like a duplicate of MCL-6550.
