Iron Golems congregate all in the same place in some villages

In some large villages most golems mill about in the same small area all day. I originally supposed that he presence of a cave system with mobs underground might be attracting the golems, but the golems still mill around in the same place even when peaceful mode is activated and there are no mobs. This is noticeable in villages where villagers and golems have multiplied quickly and there are a great many of them. In a village with only one or two golems I wouldn't even notice if the golems were always staying in the same area.

The Golems of my Village also circulate the same area all day, most of the time going in opposite directions and just pushing one another with no other pathfinding options. To top it all, they interrupt the Willing sessions of the Villagers (part where they make hearts and baby villagers) by bumping onto them. Im gonna either have to relocate the Bell or use Leads on the golems to stop interrupting my Village from increasing.

I had the golems doing that in my base as well, i ended up leading most of them off, then place some glass around my base in spots i didn't want the golems, by placing them so i and the villagers could walk under them, but golems are 3 blocks high, so they can't, and end up staying in areas there's no glass

I think I may have the same problem. I have three golems hanging around the same basic area around a river (The drowned are usually not there.) that goes through my village. The all stare at the ground, which led to think that they're seeing a underground mob, but after digging and only finding caves I've already been through and placed torches, so no hostile mobs.
