Crimson/Warped planks are usable in the furnace

Apologies if this is already reported, I did search and the search function showed no such thing.
As the title states, the two new planks could be used as furnace fuel. Since they're not flammable, I'd expect the planks to not be able to work as a furnace fuel, doesn't make any sense to me.
