If this bug will still exist in versions 1.16+ it will make enchanting Diamond items useless, since in order to make Netherite items you need Diamond items, but the thing is when you convert Diamond items to Netherite items the Diamond items use enchantments in the progress, please fix this game changing bug if it's not a feature.
